A part made for Apple. The phone recognises it and shows it in Settings without any notice. We can get it for many models and do so regularly. The price is higher than for a replacement part, so ask us about it in advance.

With every repair you want to know what you get for the price. We fit quality replacement parts with a two-year warranty, or genuine Apple parts. Nothing cheaper. Here is what that means in practice and what you will see in Settings after the repair.
Four kinds of parts.
Four categories are sold on the market. We fit the first three and always tell you the part type in advance.

Quality replacement part
A new part from suppliers we have worked with for years. Its technical parameters match the original. The phone works as before and Battery Health is shown; the phone just adds a notice that it could not verify the part as an Apple part. There is only one original, the one from Apple, and we never pass another part off as one. For a battery it costs extra.
Quality part, configured
A quality part we set up for your phone. Settings then shows it without the notice. It is still not an Apple part; the phone just accepts it without the remark. These are the parts we fit as standard, with a two-year warranty.
You will not find this here
Part without configuration
A cheap part the phone cannot read and that cannot be set up for the phone. Battery Health is often not shown at all, only the notice remains, and the part tends to have worse endurance and a shorter life. We do not fit such parts; we could not give a two-year warranty on them.
Older iPhones (up to iPhone X) do not check where parts come from. No notice appears and configuration is neither needed nor possible. We fit a quality replacement part in them, or a genuine part on request.

- A battery whose capacity, voltage and lifespan match the original, with the same type of management electronics. It is still not an Apple part, though. There is only one original and we never pass another part off as one.

- The phone works as before. Battery Health reports the state of the new battery; the phone just adds a notice that it could not verify it as an Apple part.
- Parts and service history
- On iPhone XR, XS and later: Unknown Part. It is only information about where the part comes from; the phone does not limit anything.

Battery without configuration

- A cheap battery without management electronics the phone can read, and it cannot be set up for the phone. It tends to have worse endurance and a shorter life. We do not fit such batteries; we could not give a two-year warranty on them.

- Often not shown at all. The phone only shows a notice that it could not verify the battery.

- Unknown Part.
Applies to the options we fit
- Adhesive and seal
- We try to keep the original adhesive, as it holds best. If it gets damaged when we open the phone, we add new adhesive. Nobody can guarantee water resistance once a phone has been opened, so better keep it out of water.
- Repair time
- We check the phone first; allow about an hour and a half for diagnostics. The replacement itself then takes around half an hour. We will tell you the exact time on the spot.
- Warranty
- Two years on the battery working properly, under our terms and conditions. The gradual loss of capacity through normal use is not covered. If the battery behaves oddly, though, get in touch and we will take a look.

Original capacity is the capacity of the Apple battery according to publicly available certification documents. Apple does not publish it, so treat it as a guide.

- On iPhone 12 and later we usually fit a soft OLED panel, the same technology as the original. On older models we choose between OLED and a quality LCD panel depending on availability and price. The displays are tested for colours, viewing angles and touch, reach the edges and have the same bezels as the original. We always tell you the display type in advance.
- True Tone
- On models running iOS 18 or later it works after the replacement without further setup. On older ones we transfer it from the original display if its condition allows.
- Parts and service history
- On iPhone 11 and later the display shows as Unknown Part. It is only information about where the part comes from. The display and Face ID keep working, the original sensors stay in the phone.

Battery health
After the replacement it shows the state of the new battery. It is also shown for a battery the phone does not recognise as an Apple part; the phone just adds a notice that it could not verify it.

From iPhone XR and XS onwards the phone shows here which parts have been replaced. For an Apple part it says so; for other parts it says Unknown Part. It does not affect how the phone works. A buyer will see it when you sell, though, which is why we tell you the part type in advance.
Stay original
Face ID and Touch ID
When replacing the battery or display we keep the original sensors in the phone. Face ID and Touch ID are therefore not affected by the replacement.
Between the screen and the phone body
Adhesive and water resistance
We try to keep the original adhesive, as it holds best. If it gets damaged we add new adhesive; with a display replacement we use the one that comes with the new display. Nobody can guarantee water resistance once a phone has been opened, so better keep it out of water.

What battery do you fit in an iPhone?
As standard a new quality battery, configured so that the phone shows it in Settings without the notice. For a surcharge you can have a battery with the same technical parameters as the original, and for many models we can also get a genuine Apple part at a higher price.
Is a replacement part the same as the original?
No. There is only one original, the one from Apple. The replacement part we fit matches it in technical parameters and the phone works with it as before, but it is a different part and we say so.
Will Battery Health work after the replacement?
Yes. With the standard configured battery it is shown without the notice. With the battery with the same technical parameters the phone adds a notice that it could not verify the battery as an Apple part.
What will Parts and Service History show?
With the standard configured battery nothing special, it shows without the notice. With a replacement display or the battery with the same technical parameters it shows Unknown Part. It does not affect how the phone works or our two-year warranty. With a genuine Apple part it shows an Apple part.
Do you replace the display seal?
We keep the original adhesive wherever we can, as it holds best. If it gets damaged we add new adhesive. A new display comes with its own seal.
How long does a battery replacement take?
Allow about an hour and a half for diagnostics and around half an hour for the replacement itself. Usually while you wait. It is best to book a time straight away.
Will the battery last like the original?
The battery with the same technical parameters matches the original in capacity, voltage and lifespan and has the same type of management electronics, which is why it costs extra. The standard configured battery is a quality part with a two-year warranty.
Will the display have thicker bezels?
No. The displays we fit reach the edges and have the same bezels as the original, the bottom one included. Colours, viewing angles and touch are tested before fitting.
Do you use cheap parts?
No. We fit either quality replacement parts with a two-year warranty or genuine Apple parts. Nothing else.
